OUR THERAPY APPROACHES

Although each therapist has their own unique style, our therapists use the skills and foundations of the following techniques:

IFS (Internal Family Systems)

Internal Family Systems (IFS) is actually not family therapy at all, but therapy centered on your Self. It takes the view that everybody has a Self, which is the calm core of who we are. It's the version of ourself that is open, trusting, and secure.

Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)

DBT Therapy provides tools and skills for individuals that experience emotions very intensely. This can be effective for issues such as substance use, self-harm, and eating disorders.

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)

With top evidence-based tools to change your negative thinking, CBT helps to manage anxiety and depression. This can give you a better lens for looking at the world, and help avoid getting stuck in negative patterns.

EMDR Therapy

A transformational experience of healing past wounds and trauma. Instead of traditional talk therapy, EMDR allows your brain to rewrite your negative self-beliefs. This helps to boost feelings of safety, confidence, and self-worth.

Couples Therapy

We help you and your partner explore ways to resolve tension and disagreements, restore intimacy, improve communication, and build mutual understanding and support.

Mindfulness

For stress relief and to increase self-awareness, mindfulness strengthens the ability to better control your negative thoughts, emotions, and behaviors.
