Does Wellspring Connection accept insurance?

Accepted Answer

Most of our therapists are in network with BCBS, BCN and some are in network with Aetna, Priority Health, and some Medicaid plans. You can browse our therapists by insurance plan here.

If we are not in network with your plan,  we can provide superbills for you to submit to your insurance company. Your insurance may use these to reimburse you towards what you paid for therapy.

Will my insurance cover couples therapy?

Insurance does not officially cover couples therapy. Wellspring Connection does not accept insurance for couples therapy due to this, as well as ethical concerns about quality of care.

How much does therapy cost?

Our rates vary per provider and range from $110-$165 per session. We also may offer lower sliding scale rates.

How does online therapy work?

Online therapy gives you access to a professional therapist on your time and on your terms. Wellspring Connection strives to make you feel comfortable, safe and secure during each session in our interactive video meeting, and our therapists work to make sure the connection feels engaging for you.

What can I expect from a therapy session?

The most important thing about our first session is that you feel comfortable with your therapist. This means we listen as we get to know who you are. We also will clarify what your goals are. Then we develop a custom treatment plan with you that addresses your individual goals and needs, taking into account your unique story.

How long are therapy appointments?

A "therapy hour" with a Wellspring Connection therapist averages 53 minutes.

We also provide EMDR intensives that are typically 120 minutes.

Each of our therapist reserves space on their caseload for sliding scale clients. Their ability to accommodate this changes over time. It's always worth contacting us to see if any of our therapists have this option available.
