Who is Creative?
Everybody! We all use creativity every day. But this therapy experience is for those who have a creative identity, whether as a hobby or a profession.

This includes:
- Artists and musicians
- Performance and sports
- Business owners, scientists, and academics
Creatives Have Specific Mental Health Needs
Creatives are led by a strong, but often cloudy, desire to create. Whether or not it's a source of income, it's the passion and identity that make one a creative.
Though creativity is vast, we've found specific challenges that exist across creative fields. Our therapy dives into the nuance of the spaces, identities, and experiences that creatives navigate.
This could include the following:
- Navigating the highs and lows of the creative process alongside manic or depressive episodes
- Using your unique creative skills to build trauma resilience
- Managing systemic issues with your field, such as abusive power dynamics, toxic competitive relationships, or harmful body image expectations
- Redefining who and what your creativity is for, so that your self-worth doesn't suffer from public appraisal
- Helping performing artists better manage social anxiety and panic attacks

OUR MISSION
Traditional therapy is largely uninformed of the clinical needs of creatives. That creativity is often both the source and solution of mental health challenges is fascinating, and yet not explored enough.

At Wellspring Connection, our mission is to help you develop a better relationship with your creativity. We do this bringing an informed clinical approach that brings clarity to what is, often, a very messy process.
